Gretsch 30 1930's ish - sunburst

This guitar is in 'very good condition' considering its age. I believe this to be a Gretsch model 30 from the 1930's maybe the early 40's, I don't know how to tell for sure. It's an oldie but a goodie for sure. I've owned this guitar for over 25 years and it's a sweetie but it's time to let it go. I'm no expert but I can give you my thoughts. I'm not sure the saddle is original. The few pictures I've seen of one has a metal strip running through it where the strings touch.

I can't say what's up with the tuning gears they look like pictures I've seen of original tuners but there are witness marks like there had been a different set on it but again, I don't know. There are no markings I can see on the inside of the guitar.

You can see there has been a repair on the heel of the neck. It was like that when I got it and it hasn't changed since then, so evidently it was a good repair. I have a music store and this came in on a trade years ago and I hung onto it for myself. Feel free to ask any questions, I don't know how helpful I can be but I'll do my best.

This guitar has never had a case. I will ship it with lots of bubble wrap. If you'd like a case, let me know and I can look around the store to see what I might have that would bit it. A case would be an additional transaction.
