One of the least expensive Buffet Crampon R13 clarinets we are offering for sale.  This is s/n 277XXX, a 1985 horn in Bb.  The upper joint has been cracked and repaired very nicely as seen in the photos, does not affect the tone or playability in any way, and serves only to save you hundreds of dollars compared to most of our other R13’s.  Tiny ding on the edge of the middle tenon which is cosmetic in nature and not worth repairing.  Nickel plating about 99% with just a very tiny bit of wear as seen in the photos.  All in all, it’s a great-looking horn.  Unlike most of the clarinets you may be looking at, this one has also just been through the shop in June 2025, where it was disassembled, cleaned, bore oiled, hand polished, lubed, and had all new Valentino Master’s Series synthetic pads installed—one of the longest-lasting, quietest pads available.  Cork grease and key oil are for local pickup only and will not be shipped, but it does include a Clark W. Fobes Debut mouthpiece, Luyben inverted ligature, new ProTec microfiber cloth, and new SuperSlick chamois swab.All in a brand new Kaces case with external zippered pocket and backpack straps. (We may also have this in red, teal, or purple if you’d rather, depending on our inventory.)  A great-playing, great-looking R13 which will be perfect for your advancing student, and at $2,500 less than new!
