Two Rock Custom Reverb 100W with half power switch.
The lineage of the Custom Reverb dates back to Steve Kimock’s 70’s ODS. Two Rock originally came out with the K&M Custom which was a 1:1 clone and then after Bill later added Reverb and made some tweaks it became the Custom Reverb.
Massive cleans and D-style overdrive. for those of you with a penchant for John Mayer tones, the Custom Reverb is closer to the amp used to record Continuum. That was actually a Custom Reverb Signature V1, which is little more than a Custom Reverb with some very specific changes to component brands. The overal changes made the Sig a little brighter. The Custom Reverb is slightly more mid forward, which really makes the drive stand out compared to the later Custom Reverb Signature amps. But it’s almost splitting hairs.
This is one of the later production CR’s before the model was discontinued. The workmanship inside is impeccable. Tolex is in excellent shape. Some slight wear on a letter or two, but nothing major.
It’s a great amp, I just decided to keep have my Crystal modded with full NOS signal path instead. Would love to keep both, but daycare payments and mommies say, “no sir”.
