Peavey Austin 400 - 210 Watt 2 x 12" Acoustic Electric Instrument System

This solid state amp has a dedicated electric channel and two acoustic channels (high/low gain). The electric channel has built in Saturation knob for overdriven-distorted tones but does clean as well. The acoustic channel also sounds nice for clean electric sounds. All the EQ options make tone shaping very easy. It can have a lot of volume too, if needed. All features on the front panel were tested and work. I was not able to test the optional foot switch feature (do not have the foot switch) or loop in the back but have no reason to believe they have any problems. The 2 12" Scorpion speakers and the Horn sound and work great.

A few notes on condition/functionality and why it is listed as “Good”:

- All knobs work properly though a few have slight noise when turning. It is mild and stops after knob is no longer turning.

- If you are wondering, the Reverb feature emulates a spring style reverb for the most part (or spring mixed with hall). There is some hum with the reverb that increases as it is turned up. This might be fixable but I’ve never looked into it.

- There is some discoloration or minimal rust on one metal plate on the top of the amp (see photo). No other noted scuffs or cosmetic issues.

The amp has been in a no-smoke, no-pet home. There is some dust buildup seen in photos but I would be happy to clean it up prior to sale.
