The Gibson ES-335 in Deep Ocean Burst is a refined semi-hollow electric guitar that seamlessly blends vintage tone with modern versatility. The ES-335 boasts exceptional sustain, warmth, and resonance, due to its layered maple/poplar/maple top, back, and sides, coupled with a solid maple center block. This semi-hollowbody construction, and the solid maple centerblock, also help to control unwanted feedback that is often associated with full hollowbody guitars.
The mahogany neck features a Rounded C profile, capped with a rosewood fretboard with a 12" radius and adorned with acrylic dot inlays. This neck profile, fretboard radius, and the 22 medium jumbo frets, provide exceptional comfort and playability for both chording and string bending.
A Graph Tech nut and Vintage Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons enhance tuning stability, while a nickel-plated ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge and aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece anchor the strings and contribute to outstanding sustain.
Gibson’s Calibrated T-Type humbucker pickups in the lead (bridge) and rhythm (neck) positions, hand-wired to individual volume and tone controls with 500k potentiometers and Orange Drop tone capacitors, provide a wide range of tones and exceptional versatility
