A rare and versatile Australian-made boost pedal, the MI Effects Boost 'n' Buff delivers up to 35dB of clean boost with massive headroom thanks to internal voltage doubling. This version, I believe is V3 or later, which includes:
- A true bypass / buffered bypass toggle switch
- A 3-way tone switch (Treble / Mid / Full) for EQ shaping
Sounds particularly great pushing into another gain stage. Takes regular 9V centre-negative DC, or 9V battery.
The Boost ‘n’ Buff is a real problem-solver. Whether you're after a clean push for your amp, a tone sweetener up front, or a transparent buffer to clean up long cable runs, this pedal nails it.
