This c. 1950s Kay K-24 jumbo with cutaway has been transformed through a complete rebuild and X brace conversion using Stay Gold Guitars' method of X bracing. Now it sounds and plays phenomenally! Rebuild work included: removing the back of the guitar and replacing existing ladder bracing on top of the guitar with Stay Gold's X bracing design, replacing back bracing, replacing old bridge plate with a new maple bridge plate, making a new rosewood pin bridge, neck reset, fingerboard replaned, old frets removed and replaced with a complete new fret job, old tuners replaced with Grover "Sta Tite" open gear 18:1 tuners, new bone nut, new bone compensated saddle, expert setup job. Comes with new TKL hardshell case.
