Vintage Paiste Formula 602 20" Heavy Ride Cymbal in very good condition for its age (1cm long/1mm deep indentation along the edge; slight keyhole w/two tiny 2mm deep cracks 5mm apart at top of keyhole; one minor irregularity on underside of bow; slight patina at at edge, probably from handling [all as pictured in photos])

This highly sought-after ride cymbal was the ride cymbal of choice of many legendary drummers, including prog rock drummers Bill Bruford (Yes, King Crimson, UK, Earthworks), Phil Collins (Brand X, Genesis), Carl Palmer (Emerson, Lake & Palmer; Asia); Rock legends Cozy Powell (White Snake, Black Sabbath; Brian May), Clive Bunker (Jethro Tull), and Charlie Watts (Rolling Stones); Jazz legends Joe Morello, Art Blakey, Jon Hiseman, Roy Haynes and Billy Higgins. The cymbal quite simply beautifully compliments music. Any music.

Cymbal weighs in at 2404g (toward the middle of 'medium-heavy" range for a 20"). It has a pure, clear "ping" stick sound with a pleasant shimmering overtone subordinate to the fundamental, and a bright bell. It is a one-of-a-kind. It has aged well, as this line does. Sound is unaffected by imperfections. Treat it well and it will last a very long time!
