The Suhr Standard Roasted – Cactus Green Metallic is a high-performance tone machine dressed in head-turning custom-shop elegance. A no-compromise shredder’s dream with refined vintage soul, this guitar fuses ultra-modern playability with a bold aesthetic and a versatile tonal arsenal that’s as punchy and articulate as it is rich and dynamic. Whether you're carving leads, digging into rhythm grooves, or navigating complex studio sessions, this axe is built to go the distance with precision, power, and personality.

The body is crafted from 2-piece roasted alder, a wood prized for its balanced tonal response—tight lows, pronounced mids, and a smooth top-end shimmer. The roasting process enhances resonance, reduces weight, and ensures long-term stability. Thoughtfully sculpted arm, hand, and tummy contours hug the body in all the right ways, making this a supremely comfortable instrument to play standing or seated. The Cactus Green Metallic finish shimmers under stage lights with a vibrant, almost alien glow—elegant and aggressive in equal measure.

Anchoring this sonic weapon is a roasted maple neck, matched with a slick, dark ebony fretboard—a classic combination for speed, clarity, and bite. The Even C Extra Slim neck profile (.770"-.850") is optimized for fast playing without fatigue, while the 11"-16" compound radius ensures smooth bends up high and solid chordal work down low. Add to that 22 jumbo stainless-steel frets, a Tusq nut, and Suhr’s legendary standard roll fretboard edges, and you've got a neck that’s fast, fluid, and supremely stable. Visibility and vibe come from green Luminlay side dots for low-light navigation and clay face dots for a tasteful vintage nod. Topping it off is a reverse original headstock, lending a touch of attitude and extended low string tension for added snap.

Hardware is as road-ready as it gets: the Wilkinson WVS 130 2-post tremolo features locking saddles and a steel block for enhanced sustain and spot-on tuning stability, even under aggressive vibrato use. Suhr locking tuners in chrome add further precision and security, keeping you in tune through heavy bends, dive bombs, and wild stage antics.

The electronics setup is versatile enough for any genre. Loaded with an SSV humbucker in the neck (reverse zebra), a V60 single coil in the middle (black), and a searing SSH Plus humbucker in the bridge (zebra), this HSS configuration delivers everything from warm, soulful neck tones to chimey, glassy strat middle sounds, and all-out high-gain roar at the bridge. The 5-way switch, along with Suhr’s SSCII silent single-coil system, ensures hum-free operation without sacrificing tonal nuance. Whether you're rolling clean or cranking into high-gain territory, this guitar stays articulate, tight, and expressive.

With a 1.65” nut width, chrome hardware, black Suhr decal with silver fill, and a comfortable weight of 7 lbs 9 oz, the Suhr Standard Roasted – Cactus Green Metallic is the kind of guitar that becomes your main squeeze. It ships with a Deluxe Gig Bag, ready to hit the stage, studio, or anywhere your tone journey takes you. This isn’t just a guitar—it’s a statement.
