Bill Lawrence 450 N humbucker.
This pickup was part of the product line of pickups that Bill designed for the Wilde guitar line he and Becky did in the late 90’s.
The 450 N's primary application is in the neck of a Floyd Rose equipped guitar with a hot bridge pickup such as the Dimebag 500 XL, or some comparable hot humbucker.
The 450 N has a 49 mm pole piece spacing, 12.5K, with individual alnico rod magnets, (like a strat pickup), 4 conductor wiring, and is wax potted. As a neck pickup it is quite hot, but if too hot, the coils can be wired in parallel to tame it. Its character is quite percussive, making a standard PAF-style humbucker seem mushy.
The 450 N has a secondary application. With its 49 mm pole piece spacing, it can be used as a medium-hot bridge humbucker in a guitar with an ABR-1 bridge and stop tailpiece. Very useful when a fast, percussive attack is desired.
The pickup is new, and has never been installed, but there are some scratches from handling and storage.
It will come with mounting screws and springs, and wiring color code.
There are no returns, so if you have questions ask them.
