Dragonfire 3x3 Humbuckers offer great output with clean tone, warm, smooth presentation and distinct 3x3 construction in a standard covered humbucker size. These split humbuckers execute with unique styling while granting slightly overwound but not-too-hot performance. 3x3s deliver specialized humbucker character and AlNiCo 5 bar magnet quality. With a deluxe covered pickup and 3x3 style exposed poles, these humbuckers provide a striking look to complement your playing.

These humbuckers showcase two rows of three exposed regulating screw adjustable polepieces in each row for a total of six split exposed poles on each pickup. Please note that standard covered humbucker pickups in this style require “square-corner” style humbucker routs if using a pickguard. These Dragonfire 3x3 Humbuckers are not direct replacements for Fender © Wide Range style pickups and will not fit routs designed for that pickup type. Check your measurements prior to purchase and contact us if you have any questions.

Wire color codes and basic instructions for a sample standard installation are included. Due to the vast and varied nature of possible components and set-up styles, we do not provide specific information or diagrams for installation. You should be able to use the basic information we provide to match up with any diagram or instructions you choose to use.

Installation requires soldering and compatible system. We provide enough pickup lead wire to complete installation wiring in standard usage situations.

These humbuckers are 4-wire so you can add series-parallel or phase reverse functionality for expanded wiring and playing options (instructions not included). If you’d like to update your wiring and have us create a new wiring system for you, check out our Wiring Harnesses.
