Rare 1950's Ampeg Bassamp with 15" JBL 140 speaker. Original amp chassis lost to time, so Fuchs Audio built a brand-new amp chassis with US made transformers and replicated the old Ampeg circuits in it. 50-Watts from 2-6L6's a 12AX7 preamp and 12AT7 driver tube. Inputs are for normal guitar, stereo guitar (enjoy your ES-345 or ES-355 with a stereo cable, and an upright bass input with an adjustable level/loading control (presumably for an Ampeg pickup). Input stage was wired like the stock amp. You have a global volume, treble and bass control, power/standby switch and funky green pilot lamp with modern LED lamp. Amp sounds amazing but is heavy due to a thick wood cabinet and the JBL speaker and huge transformers. One year warranty from Fuchs on the entire amp.
Chassis hand wired by Andy and signed and dated. 3-prong cord for safety and quiet operation.
This is a rare hand-wired beast of an amp, you rarely see. Plug in a jazz box and enjoy "that sound" for Grant Green or Charlie Christian riffs to your hearts content.
