Fender American Professional II Telecaster – Mercury

The American Professional II Telecaster builds on over 70 years of Fender innovation, delivering modern refinements while honoring the timeless feel and sound of a true classic. This model is built for today’s working guitarist, blending instantly familiar performance with carefully engineered enhancements.

The alder body is finished in a sleek Mercury gloss urethane, paired with a maple neck featuring the updated “Deep C” profile. Rolled fingerboard edges, a bone nut, and a “Super-Natural” satin finish provide exceptional comfort and playability, while the newly sculpted neck heel allows effortless access to higher frets.

V-Mod II single-coil pickups offer improved articulation with the classic Tele twang, snap, and snarl. A push-push tone control engages a series wiring mode for fatter, humbucker-like tones—perfect for added versatility on stage or in the studio. The three-saddle top-load/string-through bridge with compensated brass “bullet” saddles preserves vintage tone while offering enhanced tuning stability and setup flexibility.
