Vintage RARE 1960's Aiwa 99-4547 dynamic cardioid microphone High Z w stand Olson Monarch Lafayette prop display repair

 You are looking at a gorgeous 1960's Aiwa model 99-4541 high quality dynamic cardioid microphone with uber cool space age looks and it comes with the period desk stand shown. This microphone has a classic "space race" design that was very popular during the 1950's and 60's before the look faded out. If you are looking for something very unique in which to display...look no farther. This Japanese microphone looks sweet and sure to draw attention anywhere it sits in the home, office studio or "Man Cave" and it comes with an older (1980's)  desk stand.

 This model was sold under a few different Japanese manufactures including Olson and Monarch.

 This is a fairly large microphone that has been tested and sadly no longer works as the original element is dead. This should be used as a nice display, prop or repair piece only until the element is replaced with something else.

 The mic has a beautiful satin chrome finish with almost zero wear and the black plastic accents are perfect. She's a thing of beauty.

 The lower pistol grip looks just as nice and the lower switch label is completely legible. Only the label on top and up front is worn. On / Off switch works perfectly as does the tension screw. Threads for the stand and cable are perfect. This 99-4541 is just about as nice as they come. 

 Mic is easily an 8 + on a scale of 1 - 10 physically speaking.

 The stand is an older Chinese cast iron model that was based on the common Atlas DS-5 model that is still being sold today. This clone of the DS-5 is virtually identical and in very nice condition. This stand makes a great platform for the mic being quite stable.

 The 4 inch chrome risers shows very lite wear with tiny scratches. The original black painted base shows no scratches and scuff marks, paint chips or dents. The 3 original rubber pads are still on the base of the stand.

 The stand is appx 5 inches tall X 6 inches wide. With the mic on top it's 10 inches tall.
