CMI TELECASTER. JAPAN. 1970's.
VERY RARE RELIC.
Refretted ... No fret wear.
Well loved and used classic.
Maple neck and fretboard.
Original tuners. ... Keep tune well given their age and design.
Japan guitars are now collectible in their own right and are esteemed for the quality of workmanship and materials.
What makes this DELUXE Telecaster more unusual is the Mahogany type body wood... which gives it a warmer tone, and a nod in the direction of Gibson (most Telecasters are either ash or alder).
The two WIDE RANGE pickups are original and RARE and ideally suited to the guitar.
All in all a very collectible and desirable relic guitar from the 70's.
