One look at this guitar and your mind conjures up surf tones of the sixties, but this Mosrite 1965 Reissue is so much more than just a surfer's guitar...

Here we have one of the classics. A 1965 Mosrite "The Ventures" Model reissue from the highly sought after and celebrated 1970's USA made reissue. These guitar were built with an attention to detail and construction that rival the best Mosrites I have ever played. The look and feel of these guitars is spectacular and I feel that these are consistently great guitars. The neck is perfectly straight and everything works flawlessly. The pickups are strong and sound great.These guitars have a character, feel, vibe, and mojo all their own. The neck is slim and fast and feels comfortable in your palm. The speed and easy feeling comes from the super low frets (think late 50's Les Paul Custom Fretless Wonder). There is no doubt that vintage guitars sound better than anything on the planet. Something about old woods and electronics just have a certain magic. These dual single coils offer warm and mellow vintage tones that are perfect for just about anything, but don't let the cute looks fool you. This guitar can growl when driven and rock with the best of them.  This guitar has been played hard but not abused and wears her scars proudly like a badge of honor. There is no pitting on the fret board and the body has only moderate wear. The is a bit of lacquer burn on the back of the neck where it sat in its case for years. There is cool finish checking (due to the authentic vintage nitro finish) and a true healthy dose of authentic vintage MOJO with natural play wear. This classic guitar is definitely in great player condition. The tremolo bar and hardware are in perfect working order and the pick-guard has no cracks and is in stellar condition as well. This killer tone monster plays exceptionally well and almost effortlessly with a warm, balanced tone that is sure to please and surely inspire.

This guitar has been professionally set up and dialed in for optimal tone and playability. Unless otherwise noted in the listing, It features low action with no buzzing or dead spots, perfect intonation, a brand-new set of American-made strings, and a straight neck with a fully functional truss rod. If needed the frets have been leveled, dressed, crowned, and polished to a mirror shine. The fingerboard has been thoroughly cleaned (unfinished rosewood and ebony boards are treated with Fret Doctor, a premium all-natural oil). All electronics function flawlessly. The guitar has been deep-cleaned and detailed and arrives stage- or studio-ready.

- Neck is perfectly straight with no truss-rod issues. 

- Intonation is spot-on.  

- Professionally set up with low action and new American-made strings.  

- All frets are dressed, leveled, crowned (if needed), and all frets on all guitars are polished to shine like new with no divots.  

Return Policy, Restocking Fees & No Tire-Kicking Policy 

We follow Reverb’s 7-day return policy. However:  

- You must notify us in writing within 3 days of delivery (per tracking) of your intent to return.  

- Original shipping and return shipping costs are not refunded unless the guitar is damaged in transit or is significantly not as described.  

- A 15% restocking fee applies to all returns for any reason other than damage in transit or significantly not as described.  

We record demo videos of every guitar before shipping to document exact condition and performance. Additional photos, measurements, or in-hand descriptions are available upon request prior to purchase.  

Minor adjustments and tweaks to a set up (for example to correct a slight buzz or truss-rod tweak) are normal after shipping due to carrier mishandling the package, climate & atmospheric changes, especially when moving from South Florida to colder or less humid environments. These slight issues do not constitute “significantly not as described.” Guitars must be returned in the exact same condition as received/advertised or additional repair/restocking fees will apply.  

We are a small business, not a big-chain retailer. We invest significant time and effort into every guitar. This is a NO TIRE-KICKING shop. There is no post purchase haggling or partial refunds. If minor cosmetic marks, tiny imperfections, or the possibility of a post-shipping setup tweak makes you uncomfortable, please do not buy. Plenty of large retailers offer free trials and can absorb shipping costs—we do not.

- All items can be shipped internationally. Buyer is fully responsible for all import duties, taxes, and customs fees.
