This machine is owned by LA producer, programmer and Emmy Award winning sound designer, Paca Thomas. It has been meticulously cared for over the years as he used it on some very prestigious records. It was featured on albums by George Clinton, Rick Springfield, David Cassidy, Shelly Duvall, Aeone and others. Gotek drive will include over 800 killer sounds from the original SP1200 library, EIII library and Paca's personal award winning sounds.
Fully tested and sounds incredible!
Here's what was done:
- All electrolytics replaced with better quality Nichicons
- All faders, pots and buttons serviced and cleaned
- All jacks serviced and cleaned
- All internal connectors burnished and cleaned
- Display upgraded to a new easy to read one
- Old floppy drive upgraded to a Gotek
- Over 800 sounds uploaded onto the new drive ready to go.
Original OEM Owners Manual included.
Unit comes with a 90 day warranty on all work done.
