The New York Jazz Alto incorporates a rollover baffle that transitions to a gradual floor slope, delivering the air column at a precisely calibrated angle to provide maximized projection and depth of tone; meanwhile, the medium Venturi chamber supercharges air velocity, contributing to a controlled evenness of timbre across the registers. The ergonomics of the New York Jazz — specifically the beak angle and body dimensions — have also been optimized for embouchure comfort.
