I'm selling my 1978 Gibson SG Custom which I've owned since 1978 which was one of my first three guitars, in good shape and plays extremely well with original Gibson case (logo is faded). I probably played it for a year, switching back to my 1976 Gibson Explorer (still have) based off what I was playing and at the time in the 70's. Two pickups are original and the third is a DiMarzio super distortion as far as I can remember, I did not keep the original one. I had installed in 1978 after purchase and the coil tap as far as I can remember. Backplate has tecs info from install for whatever it means. The only other things I've ever had done where the input jack fixed it came loose, and when I was a kid I changed the speed knobs to gold vs the black ones. The knobs are from 1978 as well and replaced around the same year.
Year of manufacture: 1978
Made in USA, Kalamazoo as far as I can tell by the serial number
Any questions please let me know, and thanks for looking
