Produced by the Valco company in Chicago in the 50's and 60's. A great specimen of the time. Body is in good condition and electronics work. The volume potentiometer was just replaced. The tuner heads are pretty fragile. The tuning gear covers are brass and the machine heads work well, but, again, the buttons are old and deteriorating. Output jack is clean. The instrument has some dings, knicks, marks and a couple of small cracks but the instrument is in stable condition. If the tuning pegs were not in disrepair, we would rate this in good shape. We are throwing in a set of new tuning buttons (black) for the next owner, in case they want to replace them.

Comes with case. Please look closely at the photos as they serve as part of the description. The photos also show serial number and close ups of the marks noted above as well as the underside of the plate. We can answer any questions you may have. We operate Tuesday through Saturday. Any questions or orders over our "weekend" will be attended to on Tuesday as soon as we are able. Shipping occurs Tuesday through Fridays by 5pm.
