Kamaka HF-2LK 2014 - Koa Body, Mahogany Neck, Rosewood Fingerboard and Bridge

This gorgeous instrument is a Concert Long neck with side keys (tuners) probably Schaller brand, made in Germany. The body is Koa the neck is Mahogany. And it employs Rosewood for the fingerboard and bridge.

It was purchased in 2014 but sadly....it has not been played in earnest in a very long time.  It has been stored in its case in a temperature controlled environment.

Kamaka HF-2LK:

• "LK" stands for "Long Neck Koa." This signifies that it has a longer neck (tenor scale length of 17 inches) on a concert-sized body. The body is made of solid Hawaiian koa for the top, back, and sides.
• Sound: All-koa construction provides a warm, sweet, and resonant tone that matures over time. The longer neck and scale length can offer slightly more sustain and string tension compared to a standard concert neck.
• Playability: The longer neck with a tenor scale provides more space between the frets, which can be beneficial for players with larger fingers or those who prefer the feel of a tenor ukulele neck.
