Custom Fender Stratocaster "Nowherecaster" MJT Sonic Blue Relic

Here's one more reason why we think 1961 is our favorite year for the Stratocaster. This is an E11even Guitars Custom Shop assembled Strat in the style of John's that he used on some of his most iconic work.

The body is a new Alder vintage 60s spec Strat body made by USA Custom Guitars and is topped off with an aged vintage 100% nitro Sonic Blue finish by Mark Jenny of MJT® Aged Guitar Finishes. It is fitted with aged relic Chrome Gotoh hardware and a genuine Fender vintage 2-3/16" spaced big block tremolo bridge aged in our custom shop. The routed cavities have been painted with conductive shielding paint and grounded to minimize noise often attributed to singlecoil pickups.

It features a genuine Fender Vintera 60s Roadworn Mint Green factory loaded pickguard assembly with the American Pure Vintage 59 pickups, CTS 250K vintage style pots with a .047uf tone capacitor and an Oak Grigsby 5 way switch. The tone circuit was factory wired for neck and middle pickup on center knob and bridge only on the lower knob. These pickups sound amazing in this guitar!

The neck is a nicely broke-in vintage 2000 Fender Classic 60s with a Rosewood fretboard, 7.25" radius, synthetic bone nut, thicker vintage C rear profile and aged tint poly finish. We absolutely love these 60s necks from this period, they look and play superbly and we often use them for our early 60s custom builds. The frets still have plenty of life left at .040 height and we leveled and polished them as well as conditioned the fretboard with natural oils. It is fitted with aged relic Fender vintage tuners and string tree.

The guitar weighs 7.6 lbs and is strung with GHS Boomers 10-46 gauge strings with the tremolo setup floating with nice low action for effortless chord playing. Includes the new Fender Deluxe padded gigbag shown and will ship insured ground with a signature required for delivery.
