Here's a clean, very playable 1950's 'Bel Canto' model Bb Boehm system clarinet by Penzel Mueller of New York. The instrument is made of grenadilla wood with nickel alloy keys, posts and rings, and a large bore of .585". All pieces are in good shape, no significant cracks or repairs. The bell is ebonite, which lightens the instrument and helps prevent cracking.
It was just overhauled: disassembled, soaked in oil, the mechanism swedged and countersunk, body, keys, rings, and posts buffed, white leather pads and corks installed. This clarinet is in great shape for its years and plays with a big, open tone and good intonation. Comes with modern case in clean, solid condition.
