1977 Ibanez Concord 671 Acoustic Electric Dreadnought Herringbone Binding Guitar MIJ Japan

Beautiful spruce top with flamed maple back and herringbone binding + coveted “star” tuners. This vintage Ibanez Concord acoustic has had an under saddle pickup installed. I believe the mark on the top of the guitar may have been an attempt to have the output jack placed there. Output jack is now located on bottom edge of guitar by the strap pin.

The guitar plays fine as is and action is low however there are a couple of buzzing dead frets about the 13th and 14th fret. Truss rod was tested and does work. Guitar has its fair share of light dings and marks but overall looks good and plays fine below the 12th fret. The image just below the soundhole appears to be a sticker that has a clear coat finish put over it. There is also a tan mark where a previous sticker that was covering the mark on top of body was removed.

Comes with a gig bag.

Selling as is in FAIR condition. Guitar may need personal setup or repairs to play at its best. Any personal setups, cleaning maintenance or repairs will be the new owners responsibility.
