Be it Buzzcocks or Joan Jett. Get your kicks from this Japanese made Meldoy Maker from Rose Morris.
Rose Morris are more well known as the London Guitar shop that bought in Rickenbacker to the UK.
Also they did a mean line in Japanese copies of popular Gibson & Fender brands of the day.
This one has been gigged quite a bit. But only light fret wear. It looks like it was a punk bedroom toy more than a serious players guitar. So in pretty good condition for a near 50 year old instrument.
It's defiantly worth trying before buying.
like all Japanese guitars of this era (inc Fenders) the pickups sound quite weak by modern standards.
This is the slightly more rare double pickup version of a melody maker.
Neck is quite small and easy to play. Defiantly designed for the hands of the Japanese Market.
