Ibanez Artwood All Wood Prototype Dreadnought, Thermo-Aged model AVD12STK, Natural Gloss finish with torrefied solid Spruce top, solid Rosewood Back/sides. Abalone purfling, binding, rosette and fretboard inlay. Gold Gotoh SX510 15:1 vintage open back tuning machines with butterbean knobs. Bound Rosewood fretboard with special inlay, rosewood bridge, unbleached bone nut and saddle. 651 mm scale, 43 mm nut. Solid mahogany neck with volute, bound square headstock. Prototype built in 2016. Purchased from The Guitar Farm - Netherlands
This guitar model never made it to production and was never sold in the USA. My understanding is that there were only two ever built. I am the only owner and this guitar sounds as good as any torrefied top I have played with a Rosewood back, and that is a lot of them. I got it the last year Rosewood was allowed to ship into the United States from Europe.
