This vintage Ace strap was attached to a 1968 acoustic that had “just sat in a closet since my late husband bought it to impress me on a date.”
Stitching and embroidery are dead mint. Silver adjustment buckle is tarnish-free. The only evidence of usage is a pair of slight grooves from where the headstock tie looped around the strap end.
Lots of modern reinterpretations of these vintage Ace/Riviera bohemian hippie straps, but this is the real deal, and practically NOS.
