Up for sale is a 1989 Fender American Vintage '57 Stratocaster in the classic Vintage White finish. Built in the USA, this sought-after American Vintage Reissue faithfully recreates the iconic 1957 Stratocaster with period-correct features, exceptional craftsmanship, and the timeless tone that made the Strat a legend.
This beauty was purchased by it's original owner brand new from the Hollywood Guitar Center on January 6 1990. The sales receipt was still in the case. He only played it for a few months before he passed away, and it sat in a closet until I purchased it last year.
This guitar has been well cared for and is in excellent playing condition. It shows next to no wear whatsoever, except for one small chip on the edge of the neck pocket(shown in pic). The neck is straight, the truss rod functions properly, the frets are near perfect, and all electronics function exactly as they should.
This guitar honestly looks like it new, even though its 37 years old. You almost never find one this age in this kind of shape.
Whether you're a player looking for authentic vintage Strat tone or a collector seeking an early American Vintage Reissue, this is a fantastic example that's becoming increasingly desirable.
