Just arrived: Here's a very rare Gibson Moderne from the Limited Run, made in the USA in 2012, including papers and original case! The unorthodox body design is somewhere between a V and an Explorer, with excellent resonance thanks to the solid mahogany construction. Like the original reissues, these were produced in limited numbers and don't come up for sale very often. Body: Offset mahogany body with a gold Tune-O-Matic bridge and gold Stopbar tailpiece. Neck: Relatively flat but wide mahogany neck with white dots on the sides and mother-of-pearl inlays. Shown here with a gold Gibson logo and Moderne truss rod cover. Gibson Deluxe tuners work perfectly. The neck is straight, and the truss rod is fully functional. Electronics: '57 Classic humbucker with 3-way pickup selector and black speed, 2 volume, and 1 tone knobs. Weight: 3.490 kg The guitar has been played and has minor dings and dents on the top of the headstock and the bottom of the body, see photos! There are no nicks or grooves in the original frets or even on the fingerboard! The guitar comes in its original case and with all the paperwork. We've given the guitar a set-up with new E. Ball strings in gauges 10-52, and the intonation and action have been adjusted to perfection! Ready to Rock!
