This mic sounds clear and astoundingly beautiful. It comes with the original capsule as well as the installed sm58 diaphragm! Also included is the original wooden tolex case in great shape and a custom made pigtail with large vintage oem Tuchel to XLR connector.
The original moving coil diaphragm is also included and has been rebuilt. it is in working order. It needs a huge amount of gain to produce a signal, and the signal is poor so we have replaced the diaphragm with a modern high-end, moving diaphragm out of a Shure SM58 though the diaphragm does in fact work and is included, as shown in the last few pics.
This mic sounds phenomenal on vocals and guitar/bass cabinets. No issues whatsoever.
I was told by the original seller in Italy that this is the original prototype Beyer dynamic mic from their earliest German factory though I cannot substantiate that claim and I have seen others that look similar to this one though none in operational status. Every other one I’ve ever seen is in nonworking condition and missing the unobtanium cable which I have included for you here. Thanks for looking. Have a great day.
