P-90 goodness from this excellent Custom Shop example!
Dating to 2006, this example is a faithful recreation of the gold top Les Paul offered up by Gibson in 1956. In contrast to earlier examples that featured a trapeze, then followed by a wraparound tailpiece, the R6 features a stop bar and tune-o-matic. P-90s in a Les Paul is one of our favourite guitar tones, and this example delivers on the fatness and clarity you would expect from this type of LP. Further reinforcing this time period is an exceptionally full and chunky neck, which feels excellent in hand. Coming in at 4.5kg, this one is well within range for most un-chambered LPs. This particular example has seen plenty of road use, and has the dings and scratches to prove it. The output jack has cracked and encountered some heavy wear. There is a '2' stickered to the back of the headstock.
This guitar also comes with some significant musical history, as it was previously owned and played by Dan Sultan since new, and used throughout his career.
Hardware is fully functional, and plays well with a low action. Includes an tour-grade SKB roadcase. No COA and original hardcase included.
* Please note a 10% Reverb & PayPal fee has been added to the listing price.
