It's a full bodied and lively sounding guitar, just not the style I'm into anymore. I didn't know much about this guitar when I first got it 10 or so years ago, and recently I noticed it looks different than current D-60's so I reached out to Larrivee and they wrote:
"Yes, those were the original D-60's. They were fundamentally a D-10 with one of three animal cameos and an enlarged soundhole. Woods used are same as any D-10. East Indian Rosewood back & sides, BC Sotka Spruce top, Hinduran mahogany neck, and African ebony fingerboard and bridge. There weren't too many of these made as they were only around for about five or so years, I believe."
It comes with a brand new gator case.
