Guitars that incorporated metal into they construction sought to upend the definition of the guitar by changing their source materials and coming at the concept of what is a guitar from a totally different perspective. The results are just insane. A sound like no other. No amount of pickups, strings, or any other mods or accessories can achieve the sound of a guitar with a metal neck. The musical harmonics fly around every chord like a swarm of hummingbirds, it's a guitar experience like no other. These guitars are primarily seen in experimental and heavy music like Big Black and the Melvins, but the clean tone is just as unique and massive. This one is the best metal necked guitars of any type that I have ever played. It plays beautifully all up and down the neck, and it sounds perfect. Both pickups sound huge and are nicely balanced, and they're both setup to coil tap. Intonation is perfect, everything about it is lovely. There's a few dings on the body and it looks like the finish has cracked at a few points, but overall for a late 70's guitar it looks really nice. The pickups are very snug in their cavities, but they're right where they should be for volume balance and everything, and they just sound awesome. Amazing guitar!
