OWN A PIECE OF GIBSON HISTORY — I bought this guitar back in 2017 and left it as is. The FON label of this particular model suggests this was made in 1919 considering that the early models have a number of 11,000 and this guitar specifically is 11,613 (as seen in the pictures). This guitar has the original finish and it is shown in the photos that potential work and moving around of parts, over the years, has been done. The joints pass the light test and the guitar is solid and plays well (video link provided). I am unsure of what work has been done to it and I have not done any work to it at all. It’s clear that some work has been done with gluing and Minor repairs. The guitar is sold as is. The headstock has the name ‘Sam’ carved into it. I don’t know the significance of that as that was there when I bought this guitar originally as I didn’t mind it being there; I feel it gives it a bit of history to it. The Guitar shows clear signs of player wear and is still in great condition for 100+ year-old guitar. Any inquiries please feel free to message me and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
