Check out this clean 1959 Fender Telecaster in original Blond finish that's just come in from the family of its original owner out of Oklahoma! It's a very low miles example of the top loader bridge variety of the Telecaster made in 1958 and 1959. Both pickups are original to this guitar but the switch has been configured to modern style with bridge, both on middle, and neck positions.

Measurements: 6.6lbs (3.0 kg) total weight. The neck measures 1.67" wide at the nut, 0.80" deep at the first fret, and 1.00" deep at the 12th fret. The neck pickup reads 7.15k ohms and the bridge pickup reads 7.05k ohms.

Dates: The neck pencil date reads "1/59". The potentiometer codes read "137 825" (137 = Chicago Telephone Supply, 8 = 1958, and 25 = 25th week of the year). 

Originality: All parts and finish are original to this guitar except possibly the volume potentiometer. It's an era correct Centralab potentiometer that appears to have factory solder, but isn't a matching CTS pot like we normally see. The neck pickup has been rewound and the switch has been rewired to modern configuration (bridge - both on middle - neck).

Playability: Amazing! The neck is dead straight, truss rod functions as intended, and the electronics are clean and operate as intended. The frets have nearly their full life ahead of them.

Condition: Excellent with light nicks, dings, scratches, and checking.
