Here is a beautiful 1996 814c from the "golden age" of Taylor's production. It features a solid Sitka Spruce top, along with beautifully figured solid Rosewood back and sides and a 20 fret Mahoghany neck. The original owner was a luthier, who added an aftermarket K&K undersaddle pickup. There is an Ebony fretboard and bridge, and a compensated tusq nut. The tuners are gold plated Grovers. I have owned the guitar since 2016, during which time it has been played sparingly and kept in a temperature/humidity controlled room along with the rest of my collection. It has the hallmark Taylor playability, and sounds fantastic both acoustically and amplified. The guitar is in great condition, with only a couple of very minor scratches on the top. I tried my best to photograph them. It just returned from a set up by my luthier. It will ship in the original hardshell case.
