Original steinberger GM4t from Newburgh.

Legendary headless guitar that started it all, beauty of Ned Steinberger and Genesis!

Purchased this guitar some years ago and believe it was fixed up by Headless USA at some point because of all included accessories such as case. Extremely stable with innovations such as the space-age neck and solid metal transtrem. Plays buttery smooth and resonates extremely well on neck. This guitar has been played a lot and has fret wear/ grooves, pickup cover wear, and body marks all around on body as pictured. One of the strap locks is chipped in half but still functions without issue. Upon setup luthier suggested a fret dressing and no need for a complete refret however I wanted to leave it as is.

Transtrem functions but could probably use some tune-up and/or bearing replacement (as recommended by the headless USA for these guitars). I have not taken it apart myself to investigate and it transposes well, especially in less extreme deviations. All working parts including extra strings and maintenance tools along with hardcase as pictured.

No refunds, final purchase. Happy to answer any questions and/or send additional photos in advance.
