This guitar is a custom made Telecaster style electric guitar - Bought the body and neck separately and decided to practice staining and finishing. After working on it up to this point, I'm passing it off to someone who knows more about proper setups. It's finished with an open pore, oil finish (no grain filler). Including a back plate that was included with the body but one needs to be custom made for it, because of the odd dimensions of it. The backplate never fit with it. It has a few indents and dings, but was going for a relic'd appearance to begin with.

The guitar neck shape is most similar to a Gibson, soft c shaped neck but a bit more raised near the midline, and more tapered towards the edges of the fingerboard to keep it from having too thick of a feel. generally, "not too thick, and not too thin".

Issues: Despite being able to finish it decently, I'm still missing some finer aspects to my guitar building comprehension. The neck to body fit isn't as tight as I'd like, and might need some veneer on the side of the neck pocket. The neck pocket needs a shim most likely. The fret work leaves something to be desired, but it intonates correctly. The nut work is not that great. In the pictures you can see I played with the string spacing and have extra string slots (A New Bone Nut Blank Will Be Included with the Guitar). It’s not terrible but not great. The bridge pickup was routed a little bit larger than it should have been (I think) because it shows a little bit past the currently installed bridge pickup mount. It doesn’t show with the other bridge pickup up mount, but I couldn’t get it to intonate as well as the current bridge which why it’s still on there. (Other bridge will be Included - Has a traditional compensated 3 brass barrel saddles) None of the electronics are connected currently, either but you can still play it acoustically at the moment.

This guitar needs work, but it's fairly close to completion and comes provided with options with which to customize it to your preference.
