Gregory Byers 2016 Indian Rosewood back a sides . Lattice Braced . Compensated saddle . Raised finger board . Greg was one of the first if not the first to develop the raised fingerboard design. This guitar has a short er 613.5 scale length. Greg is a firm believer that a shorter scale length does not compromise the sound of his guitars and he is probably the best luthier at building shorter scale length guitars. So if you want a shorter scale length guitar but by Greg Byers this may be your last chance to buy one . I have large hands and the scale length is just fine for me . Minor imperfections to top finish. One small ding. Crack on top on lower bottom bout near bridge which was repaired and stabilized by David LaPlante . The crack is hardly visible and totally stable . the back , sides , neck , head and everything else are it exceptionally fine condition with no cracks dings or imperfections in the beautiful French . Polish . I think Greg does the finest French Polish of any luthier on the planet . 0lder Sloan Tuning Machines which turn very smoothly . Hiscox Case . I far as I know Greg is no longer building.
