Manufactured in 2021 for Guitar Center, purchased used from Guitar Center in 2024. The guitar was apparently rarely played if at all. This guitar has beautiful tone. Everything is manufactured and built to 50-51 Nocaster spec, except that the headstock includes the "Telecaster" decal (which actually is historically correct for certain shipments). The control section is "Mike Lewis Custom Shop Modified '51 Nocaster Wiring" - meaning, 1 - Bridge p/u with Neck p/u Blend Control (in my opinion this is far superior to the modern tone control, it blends in beefier Tele neck p/u tone instead of rolling off high frequencies), 2 - Neck p/u only, 3 - Neck p/u in series with 10 K ohm resistor (cuts volume) in parallel with .001 pf cap (cuts treble), resulting in a fat Jazz tone. No worries though, included with the case is an additional control section wired to the modern standard. Relic'd parts include 3-piece brass saddle, vintage tuning keys and many more. Neck is Flame AA Quarter Sawn, shaped like a '51 Nocaster.
