MUSICAL FIDELITY X-CAN v3 Class A Hybrid Headphone Amplifier

New MUSICAL FIDELITY X-CAN v3 Class A hybrid headphone amplifier in pristine condition and never used except for initial testing to confirm operation.  Includes manual and original box along with small 12-volt output AC wall power supply.

Has been upgraded by Big Sky Audio, LLP with a nice very comprehensive process to make an excellent sounding amplifier even better.  This is no longer any ordinary X-CAN v3!  The input capacitors, feedback resistors, power supply capacitors are replaced with better components along with bypassing added to the main power supply caps and soft recovery rectifiers installed.  Finally, teflon Golden Dragon tube ring dampers are added. The parts chosen will not add coloration to the sound but will bring out the best clarity and detail.

Before my retirement, I owned and operated a stereo amplifier repair and upgrade service and was also a service center for ADCOM and Parasound brand equipment.  You can be assured that this headphone amplifier being offered has been professionally upgraded with premium grade audio specific component parts and the modification has not altered the manufacturer’s circuit design.  Commercial grade soldering equipment has been used for a very neat procedure. It is much more comprehensive than the Rock Grotto UK mod.

Made in Taiwan and operates on 115-Volt AC USA power.  JAN Philips 6922 tubes installed.  Runs pure Class A at any rated power level.
