For sale a Crate Blue voodoo 60 watt 8 ohm speaker made by Eminence. This model is unique as I don't see a lot of the Voodoo speakers with this customer label (usually they are blank/no markings) . Eminence claims they are close to their Private Jack, GB128 or Celestion Greenback. I'm here to say the are pretty damn close to those speakers and have their own thing going on. They are better clean then almost any speaker I've played thru. With gain they are amazing. It took me a while to except these speakers sound as good as they do.
Having, UK V30's, G 12k 85's, Governor's, V128's, Greenback's, Weber Silver Bell's etc.... I loaded 2 of these speakers in a 2x12 cab and kept coming back to it. They aren't a heavy midrange speaker, but cut thru a mix as well as a V30. Also a very vintage sounding speaker. Like listening to the first Montrose record or early Thin Lizzy. Whatever the hell these speakers are, I've parted ways with most of my other speakers.
