Hammond 1966 RED CAP B3 With PRIMO LESLIE 32H TALL BOY BEST!! 1949/1966 - Walnut

I'm a local Hammond technician in St Louis area and when I get a Hammond or a Leslie it's either something that I really want or it's what's generally considered to be the best and in this case it's both! I've been hunting both of these particular items for a while and finally found both of them in relatively short order and fully restored them both though they both were in very nice condition. The Hammond is an original Red Cap from 1966 and is in excellent condition close to near mint condition not a single thing wrong with it very little play at all the pedals and all the things you would normally find the earliest wear on are immaculate. The Leslie tallboy started off Life as a 31h but having found a nice chassis for a 32h I upgraded this particular one as some people did back in the day, as those 32h amplifiers were basically meant to be an upgrade for these early Leslie's to give them a little more punch. And boy do they ever! And this one even comes with the period correct balloon Style 6l6 tubes. And also, the original Magnavox / Jensen field coil speaker from the mid 40s with a brand new kit in it featuring a custom-made Ted Weber coil to perfectly accent the driver and a vintage Jensen cone and spider. The x-max on this has been slightly accentuated, as this was a tech tip back in the day to make these woofers even a little bit more amazing! I can't say enough about this Rick but if you know them then you probably have a good idea already. There is perfect as perfect gets and belong in the best church or recording studio. Whoever needs to have that sound nailed down and carved in stone. This is the archetype. This is the one!

Also the original to this model, Leslie cabinet, is also available if you want to have the original 122 that accompanied it. It also is immaculate and all original. And has been rebuilt. But nothing replaced that you would consider to be important aside from capacitors or tubes Etc. The tubes by the way are power tubes from a famous amp Builders head stash of New Old Stock. They are Groove Tube 6550 that I popped out of the tube they came in for this particular build. I like the really build these things as good as they can possibly be and this is definitely the one and it is priced to sell quickly. It may seem like a lot, but this is literally somebody's forever organ.
