Harmony H166
This is a vintage Harmony H166W acoustic guitar from the 1970s. This partiular model was only made between the years 1971-1972 leading to its rarity. It’s seen some years, carries the scars proudly, and still plays well for its age. It certainly has some character, but if that draws you in the same way it did for me then this guitar is perfect.
Functional Condition
- The main body is fully intact and shows no signs of structural damage
- The neck is straight, and while the frets do show some signs of wear, nothing that would affect its playability
- The action is on the lower side, and has a very slight buzz
- The original tuners are still attached to the guitar, though some tuning pegs are slightly bent, leading to an occasional stiffness while tuning
- The guitar was newly restringed with d'Addario 12-53 Light Phosphor Bronze Strings
- The nut and bridge have been replaced and both are made of bone
Cosmetic Condition
- The guitar has amassed a collection of stickers throughout its years
- There are minimal scratches and nicks, but no more than to be expected with a guitar this age.
