This edition is equipped with a floating Seymour Duncan “Johnny Smith” mini humbucker giving it a diverse range of tones from soft and warm to bright and punchy along with excellent control over the dynamics of your sound. The headstock has the classic D’angelico New York style Inlay. The laminated spruce on flame maple puts out excellent acoustic response and the fretboard is a 22-fret, 16”-radius Pau ferro fingerboard with a 3-piece maple/walnut/maple neck sporting a comfortable “C” profile. The tortoise 5-ply pick guard, intricate split block inlays and gold staircase tailpiece serve as a tangible symbol of the craftsmanship that goes into these guitars.

This guitar also comes with its original case as well. The case has a soft and cushioned inside with two keys to lock it up and and a small bag containing two extra washers and an Alan wrench. There are slight smudges on the face of the case from run ins with corners and what not but it’ll keep the guitar safe from anything.

If you’re a jazz lover or an admirer for authenticity, or just love guitars for what they are, then this is the guitar for you. This instrument is very special to me and with it being basically brand new but still used I knocked it down from its retail price of $1,500 to $1,300.
