Vintage Gibson TB-3 Mastertone Banjo 1925 Ball Bearing Prewar OHSC

Selling an original 1925 Gibson “Mastertone” Tb-3 Banjo. This is the first year of the Mastertone models and features the relatively new, ball bearing tone ring. The instrument has remained in largely original condition excluding the head, and a small hole in the resonator, likely to accommodate some strap or stand attachment. The banjo plays well and has the loud, focused, pre war sound youd expect. It has remained in good condition although showing considerable finish wear to the back of the neck and resonator. There are two small strips of binding towards the end of the neck that are missing, though hardly noticeable when playing. included is the original hardshell case, along with some vintage strings and screwdriver. To find an all original prewar Gibson banjo for this money is not an easy feat. Please message me with any questions. thanks
