Refurbishers‘ delight! I bought this piece off of Andrew Wyatt (Miike Snow) via a refurbisher in 2023 and it has stayed in my studio since then, barely touched by anyone besides myself, consistently cleaned and kept safe. Its so beautiful, and I will always be sad I had to part ways with it. The only reason I’m selling it is because I need the money. Some Of the sounds I recorded with the Jupiter 4 will stay with me til I’m in the grave.
The Roland Jupiter-4 (JP-4) is an analog synthesizer manufactured by the Roland Corporation between 1978 and 1981. It was notable as the company's first self-contained polyphonicsynthesizer, and for employing digital control of analog circuits (termed compuphonic by Roland), allowing for such features as programmable memory, voice assignment modes, an arpeggiator, polyphonic portamento and others.
