Vintage RARE 1965 Daimaru By KAWAI Model 802 Japan Redburst Pro Setup New Strings Original Hard Shell Case

A beautiful and all original vintage 1965 Daimaru, made by Kawai, in Japan, Single Pickup Redburst guitar. Its all original and even has the original Hard Shell Case...

This cool guitar was made by Kawai..We have never run into one of these Daimaru branded guitars but had many like them...This one has the awesome Audtion Pickup in it which always sound great!

Kawai was one of the Behemoth Japanese guitar builders of the 1960's. They built many other guitar brands besides Decca. They included, Apollo, Barclay, Audition, Heit, Hy Lo, Ibanez, Kent, Telestar, Truetone and Zim Gar.... Their biggest customers in the USA were Sears, Woolworths and Eatons in Canada... All sold in their catalogs!

This guitar has an awesome sounding single coil pickup. Very strong for this little guitar. The guitar has a 23 1/2 inch scale neck with a 1 5/8 inch nut. We had Jeff the Tech set it up with a new set of 10 guage strings. He has it playing great with awesome low playing easy action.

All original to include the shown Original Hard Shell Case.All latches, hinges, original handle and even the accessory box are still with it. We added some reinforcement to both ends. The case was cracked in the ends. It will hold together now for a long time. See pics 17 and 18. Fits the guitar great!

Cool, but vintage so its sold as is no returns. Thanks for respecting that.
