Vertex Effects Tone Secret Overdrive Pedal (Store Demo) – Refined Green Screamer

Vertex Effects Tone Secret Overdrive Pedal (Store Demo) – Refined Green Screamer

Up for grabs is a Vertex Effects Tone Secret (TS) Overdrive Pedal, lightly used as a store demo and in excellent working condition.

The Tone Secret is Vertex’s modern answer to the legendary green overdrive pedal that emerged from late '70s Japan—an icon both loved and critiqued by generations of guitarists. Rather than a direct clone, the Tone Secret captures the studio-polished tones made famous by the pedal’s most iconic users, delivering the essence of those sounds without requiring a cranked, mid-scooped amp to get there.

While it uses only 50% of the gain found in traditional versions of the green OD, its pre- and post-overdrive controlsoffer incredible flexibility—letting you dial in the breakup characteristics to suit any amp, and simulate tube amp drive without having to max out the DRIVE knob.

Key Features:

• Inspired by the most iconic recordings made with the classic green OD
• Pre-gain and post-gain controls for enhanced dynamic response
• Independent treble and midrange EQ controls for surgical tone shaping
• Unique GRIT control blends your amp’s natural breakup with the pedal’s overdrive
• Ideal for classic and modern tones alike—perfect for studio or stage

If you're looking for a refined overdrive that delivers all the soul and scream of the original, with modern tone-shaping versatility, the Tone Secret lives up to its name.
