This is a rare find. Only 50 in the world, and these Boogie Street Guitars are perfect in every way. It is made in Korea, but the guys at Boogie Street Guitars were right there with them during fabrication. Just perfect on this first run. Can't touch the first run BSG1.
“Back early 2004 I had an exciting, yet brief opportunity to work with one of Heavy Metal's icons - Dimebag Darrell Abbott. Guitarist for Pantera and Damageplan. Some of the Dimebag Series Washburn guitars that BSG helped design and create were some of our best work. Plus - I state poudly - for my money, the Washburn/BSG Dime guitars have the FINEST Dimebag Series guitars - EVER MADE. Period. End of story.” (Eric Mckenna)
I bought this from Boogie Street Custom Guitars as soon as they were available to order. I’m the original owner. On one of the 6 DVD's autographed by Eric Mckenna (included), they say Scott Ian got the number 1. This is the very first run on the named "Boogiebolt" guitars. This BSG1 guitar is flawless in every way. Mahogany body, maple neck, ebony fretboard, real abalone inlay, REAL SCHALLER Floyd Rose tremolo, and absolutely perfectly straight. It has always been in a climate-controlled guitar room. I did use it for a couple recordings, but mostly just babied and loved since day 1. I never removed any of the back plates and they are still covered from the factory. Nothing has been altered from the factory original guitar besides the Thomastik-Infeld Power Bright strings I switched to. It has been played, but as you can see from the pictures, it is pretty mint. Zero dings or scratches. The binding is yellowing some from age, which is normal. It states on one of the DVD's that Dime was the one who suggested using the "Boogieman" inlay on the first fret. Dime was directly involved in the production of this legendary guitar. It is perfect! Plays so incredibly well and sounds amazing! The bonus disk talks most about Dime and Zakk. Mentions how Zakk Wylde wrote, "In This River", but could not play it live for a long time because of the pain of losing Dime was so hard to handle. I love you, Dime! RIP.
This is your chance to own a piece of Dime's history and a legendary WASHBURN guitar. Dean basically raped Dimes estate after his untimely death. That is why Rita sued and dumped their association with Dean. To honor Dime's legacy. ONLY 50 EVER BUILT!
